Bihar School Examination Board is going to conduct STET in the upcoming months. The STET 2019 is being conducted to fill more than 35000 vacancies of teachers.
As of now, the exam is scheduled to take place on 7 November 2019. But it is very likely that the exam will be shifted to some other dates. The exam might take place on 21 November 2019.
The Bihar STET was expected to be conducted in 2016 but due to some administrative issues, the stet could not take place. Even BSEB conducted BETET before stet in 2017. But now the board has identified the vacancies and going to organize the exam for STET and Physical Education.
The STET 2019 will be conducted to fill the 37335 posts in Secondary and higher secondary department. There is a total of 25270 vacancies for the Secondary department while Total Vacancies for Higher Secondary are 12065.
The candidates who have applied for the Secondary department will take part in paper 1 while candidates for Higher Secondary will appear for paper 2.
