Featured resource: What is digital literacy?

Developing EmployABILITY lead Professor Dawn Bennett has been collaborating with Associate Professor Jo Coldwell-Neilson of Deakin University to integrate digital literacy learning into EmployABILITY thinking.

Digital literacy is the ability to identify and use technology confidently, creatively and critically to meet the demands and challenges of life, learning and work in a digital society.

This week’s featured resource, What is digital literacy?, provides a student introduction and a digital literacy self-assessment tool.

What is digital literacy? is most effective if students have first created a personalised employability profile as part of the 10-step Developing EmployABILITY process.

All Developing EmployABILITY members have access to this new resource. To become a member, sign up here. All Developing EmployABILITY resources are free of charge.
